Plantation Shutters are an increasingly popular product and here at Blind Options we have been supplyin and installing Plantation Shutters in the North Yorkshire Region for almost 10 years.

We have gained much experience in that time and have a good relationship with our manufacturing suppliers in the Uk and abroad.

Plantation Shutters are widely used in the Carribean & the US. & and indeed in many European countries and are becoming more popular across the UK as they become more affordable and fashionable. They are available in solid hardwood, engineered hardwood and mdf as well as in pvc.& in a variety of standard and bespoke paint finishes and wood stain finishes.

We are able to supply Plantation Shutters for almost any situation whether to a window, french door, patio door as a screen or room divider.

There are frame options to cover all situations inside or outside reveals or recess.

There are three styles available in non shaped shutters

TIER ON TIER

This being the situation where one set of shutter panels would sit above another set to allow one set to be opened independently of the other

CAFE STYLE

Where a row of panels would not go full height from the cill but would stop half way or where a natural break point may be on the window frame. This gives privacy at a lower height say table height hence the name "cafe style"

FULL HEIGHT

As the title implies these panels are full height and dependant on height may have an intermediate rail.

Shutter Louvres are available in different sizes depending on the range chosen from 47mm,63mm,89mm,114mm.

SHAPES

Apart from square or rectangular shutters we can supply arched shutters fan shaped shutters &triangular shutters.
